PAINTINGS BY JOSEPH T. RENALDI - FRACKVILLE, PA

SCHOOL DAY
The painting by Joseph T. Renaldi depicts a father escorting his daughter down a country road to a one room school house.

This scene was typical in rural America during the early and mid 20th century.

SUMMER VACATION
The joy and happiness is displayed by all the children upon leaving the little, red country school house at the conclusion of the school year.

Since I was in the field of education for forty (40) years, I witnessed that most of the pupils were delighted at the conclusion of the school term.
Individuals who attended a rural school can relate to the painting displayed on this page.

DOOR TOPPERS ( DOOR DECOR)
A variety of scenes are hand painted directly to wooden door toppers as a decor for doors. The toppers are curved and 3 ft. long and 6" wide at the center of the topper. The scenes include paintings of animals, birds, landscapes, religious figures, and etc.

GOING FISHING
Many young boys who lived in rural America enjoyed their favorite pass time upon leaving the little red school house. The pass time of fishing is depicted in the painting on the right.

LIFE IN RURAL AMERICA
Many of my paintings and writings are symbolic of the conditions that existed in rural America and the Coal Regions of Pennsylvania.
